Weight Loss

Nutrient-Stimulated Peptide Hormones That Promote Weight Loss.

GLP-1,short for glucagon-like petide-1,is a naturally occurring hormone that is just 30-31 amino acids in length. GLP-1 peptides work by mimicking the function of the naturally occurring hormone GLP-1 in the body. GLP-1 is produced in multiple parts of the body, including the intestines, pancreas, and brain, in response to food intake. It helps regulate glucose metabolism by increasing insulin secretion. Additionally, GLP-1 slows down the emptying of the stomach, making people feel fuller for longer periods of time. By doing so, it helps regulate appetite, reduce food intake, and increase feelings of fullness. GLP-1 peptides have also been shown to have other beneficial effects, such as improving insulin sensitivity and increasing the body’s metabolic rate.

What types of nutrient-stimulated peptides are classified as GLP-1 agonist for weight loss?

Liraglutide
Single GLP-1 agonist, approved for weight loss since 2014, once daily subcutaneous injection.

Semaglutide
Single GLP-1 agonist, approved for weight loss since 2021, once weekly subcutaneous injection.

Tirzepatide
Dual GLP-1 agonist, approved for weight loss since 2023, once weekly subcutaneous injection.

Retatrutide
Triple GLP-1 agonist, ( phase 3 clinical trials as of 2025), once weekly subcutaneous injection.

Survodutide

Dual GLP-1 agonist, ( phase 3 clinical trials as of 2025), once weekly subcutaneous injection.

Mazdutide
Dual GLP-1 agonist, ( phase 3 clinical trials as of 2025), once weekly subcutaneous injection.

What are the other benefits of GLP-1 treatment?
  • Improved emotional wellbeing
  • Improved mental clarity and mood
  • Better self-esteem
  • Improved mobility and reduced joint pain
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Lower triglycerides
  • Lower risk of heart disease
  • Improved insulin resistance
  • Enhanced immune system
  • Less need for prescription medications
What does the Elevate Weight Loss Program look like?

Our weight loss program includes a medical provider consultation, weekly GLP-1 injections, in-clinic access to medical staff to answer any medication-related questions, body composition scans to record your initial baseline body composition at the start of treatment, and monthly follow-up scans to track progress and monitor critical changes in body composition, including lean muscle and subcutaneous/visceral fat changes that may impact treatment. Additionally, when patients start treatment, they will receive patient education and support materials to guide them with the appropriate diet and lifestyle modifications that will help them in their weight loss journey.

What is a body composition scanner and how does it work?
A body composition scanner works by Bio Impedance Analysis (BIA), which sends a safe, low-intensity electrical current through the body via tactile points on the machine (hands and feet) and takes about 60 seconds. Impedance varies with tissue structure, tissue composition, tissue health, and signal frequency. The resistance to the flow of the alternating current determines the difference between muscle mass and fat mass (including visceral and subcutaneous).
Are there any specific changes I need to make to my lifestyle and diet?
As part of the weight loss program, patients will receive information during their initial visit and follow-up visits that will guide them in the most beneficial diet choices, supplement choices, and lifestyle choices that will best support their weight loss journey while using GLP-1 treatment.
How long does the medication last and how is the medication dosed?
GLP-1 medications are injected into the subcutaneous fat tissue once a week, and the effects typically start wearing off around the end of the week before the next scheduled dose is due. When starting GLP-1 treatment, it is important to start at a lower dose and gradually increase the dose over time to reduce possible side effects.
What are the most common side effects of GLP-1 treatments?
Due to the nature of how the medications work, patients may experience slowed digestion and slowed gastric emptying of food from the stomach. If the dose is escalated too quickly and the body isn’t given enough time to adjust, the person may experience gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, bloating, constipation, and diarrhea.

Peptides / Supplements

Powerful Amino-Acid Structures that Enhance Your Body’s Normal Biological Function.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that perform many important functions in the body. Unlike synthetic drugs, peptides work by mimicking the body’s biological processes, making them both highly effective and well-tolerated. Peptides are designed to address specific issues like building muscle, burning body fat, skin rejuvenation, sexual enhancement, stress reduction, immunity boosting, inflammation reduction, and increased healing and recovery from injuries.

Sermorelin (Lean Muscle Mass, Fat Loss, Improved Metabolic Profile):
Sermorelin is a growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) naturally produced by the brain. Its function is to encourage the pituitary gland to produce and secrete human growth hormone (HGH). Sermorelin is not a growth hormone by itself, but instead a growth hormone secretagogue, a separate hormone that stimulates the production of human growth hormone (HGH). By promoting HGH production this helps regulate body composition and facilitates muscle and bone growth and is required to maintain healthy brain and organ tissue.

More About Sermorelin

How do Sermorelin levels relate to age?
The human body produces the highest amounts of Sermorelin during puberty, leveling off in their twenties, thirties and forties. Older men tend to be more likely to suffer from low levels of Sermorelin as the aging process slows down the body’s production of the hormone.

What happens when Sermorelin levels are low?
As men age, they will begin the experience adult-onset growth hormone deficiency, a phenomenon characterized by relative increase in fat mass and a commensurate decrease in muscle mass. They can also suffer from low energy levels, anxiety, and depression. Also, they may have maladjusted lipid levels, raising levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Many metabolic changes begin to occur which can lead to greater risk of heart disease, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome.

What are the effects of Sermorelin therapy?
Increased energy, improved mood, memory and cognition levels. It also helps lean muscle mass and fat loss helping improve body composition. Its broader health benefits include lower blood pressure and lower cholesterol facilitating overall better health.

(HGH) Human Growth Hormone (Cell Growth, Regeneration, and Cellular Reproduction):

Human Growth Hormone (HGH) also known as Somatotropin, is a peptide hormone secreted by the pituitary gland. It plays a crucial role in growth, cell regeneration, and tissue repair. Growth hormone is primarily produced in the growth stage of life, peaking at puberty, and then slowly declining as we age.

More About HGH

What are the signs you might be experiencing growth hormone deficiency?
More body fat, particularly around the waist, reduced bone mass, struggling to build muscle mass, feeling anxious or depressed, exhaustion or fatigue, and sensitivity to temperatures.

What are some of the benefits of HGH treatment?
Some of the benefits include increased muscle mass, improved mood and mental health, increased energy levels, better quality sleep, increased libido, lower cholesterol and body fat, better immune system function, and faster recovery from injuries and wounds.

(HCG) Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (Fertility, balancing hormones, preventing testicular atrophy):
HCG is a peptide hormone, specifically a glycoprotein, produced primarily by the placenta during pregnancy. It consists of two polypeptides subunits ( alpha and beta) linked together, with sugar molecules attached, making it a glycoprotein. HCG play a role in early pregnancy by signaling the corpus luteum in the ovary to continue producing progesterone to support fetal development also stimulates Testosterone production in the fetal testes and is used to trigger ovulation in certain hormonal conditions.

More About (HCG) Human Chorionic Gonadotropin

What role does HCG play in fertility?
Beyond pregnancy, HCG is used in fertility treatments to induce ovulation in women and help increase sperm production in men with hormonal deficiencies.

What happens to normal testosterone production when men use TRT?
Exogenous testosterone supplementation can suppress the body’s natural production of testosterone by inhibiting the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis. This happens because the hypothalamus reduces the release of (GnRH) gonadotropin-releasing hormone which in turn decreases the release of (LH) luteinizing hormone and (FSH) follicle stimulating hormone because the external testosterone signals to the hypothalamus to reduce the release of these hormones. When these hormones are suppressed, testicular function declines, leading to testicular atrophy ( shrinkage) and reduced fertility.

How can HCG help men while using TRT?
HCG is structurally similar to the hormone LH and mimics it’s action by binding to the same receptors on the Leydig cells. When administered stimulates the testes to continue producing endogenous testosterone and helps maintain testicular size and function, even in the presence of exogenous testosterone’s helps maintain the body’s normal testosterones production and helps prevent testicular shrinkage and improves testicular function while using TRT.

PT-141 (Sexual Enhancement):
Also known as bremelanotide, PT-141 works by stimulating the melanocortin receptors in the brain, which are involved in sexual arousal, increased sexual desire, and physical response without affecting the cardiovascular system

More About PT-141

What is PT-141 used for?
PT-141 is approved to treat hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women. It can be used for off-label use for men for libido and enhanced erections.

What are some of the other effects of PT-141?
Some of the other effects include increased physical arousal and genital circulation, improved sexual performance, elevated mood, enhanced metabolism, and improved lean muscle mass.

What are the common side effects of PT-141?
Some of the common side effects include flushing, headaches, nausea, irritation, reddening at the injection site.

Glutathione (Detoxification, Immune Support, Skin Support, Anti-Aging)

Glutathione is a tripeptide composed of three amino acids (glutamine, cysteine, and glycine). It is a powerful antioxidant naturally produced by the liver, crucial for preventing damage to important cellular components caused by reactive oxygen species such as free radicals and peroxidases.
More About Glutathione (Detoxification, Immune Support, Skin Support, Anti-Aging)

What happens to the body’s Glutathione levels as we age?
As we age our glutathione levels begin to decline. Glutathione levels in the body many be reduced for a number of reasons, including poor nutrition, enviromental toxins, and oxidative stress.

What are the uses of Glutathione?
Glutathione is often referred to as the master antioxidant and supports detoxification, immune system support, nuerological support, and serves as key co-factor in important energy production cycles within the body. Other uses include cosmetic uses for skin lightening,anti-aging,and improved skin elacticity.

What are the benefits of Glutathione?
Glutathione helps reduce oxidative stress that can lead to chronic disease. This typically occurs when there is an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the body’s ability to fight them off.Levels of oxidative stress that are too high may be a precursor to multiple diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and rheumatoid arthritis.

How is Glutathione adminsitered?
Glutathione can be administered orally, subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or via I.V. administration depending on the treatment regimen and goals the patient wants to achieve.

(NAD+) Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (Energy production, cellular repair, anti-aging):
NAD+ is not a traditional peptide but rather a coenzyme derived from vitamin B3(niacin). It’s a small molecule composed of two nucleotides linked by their phosphate groups, not a chain of amino acids  like peptides. However, it’s often discussed in the context of cellular health alongside peptides. NAD+ plays a critical role in energy metabolism and cellular function by acting as an electron carrier in redox reactions.
More About (NAD+) Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide

What happens to NAD+ levels as we age?

NAD+ levels naturally decline with age due to reduced synthesis and increased consumption by enzymes ( PARP’s and CD38). This drop in NAD+ levels is linked to metabolic slowdown, reduced DNA repair, and increased age-related conditions.

Is NAD+ only important for energy production?
NAD+ has broader roles besides energy metabolism, it’s vital for DNA repair, gene expression, and cellular signaling by activating enzymes called Sirtuins and PAPRs. By using NAD+ or it’s precursors (NMN) nicotinamide mononucleotide or ( NR) nicotinamide riboside, these can help boost NAD+ levels aiming to combat aging, improve metabolic health, and enhance cellular resilience.

How often do I need to supplement NAD+ to notice a difference?
Most studies and supplement protocols recommend daily intake of NAD+ precursors because NAD+ has a relatively short half-life in the body (hours to a day), and consistent supplementation helps maintain elevated levels. Using a protocol with intravenous or injectables along with oral supplementation will raise levels on a more consistent basis.

Non-Peptides that Complement
or Enhance the Effects of Peptide Treatment

When considering peptide therapy, it’s essential to be aware of several non-peptide molecules that can complement or enhance the effects of peptide treatments.

Sample Comprehensive Blood Biomarker Report

Comprehensive Bloodwork

“Normal” doesn’t mean the body is in its optimal state Elevate Medical Group’s comprehensive bloodwork measures more than the standard panels most people are used to. Our comprehensive bloodwork analyzes 98+ biomarkers to get a true understanding of your baseline health, enabling early detection of disease, and allowing patients to be proactive about their health. What may be considered “normal” is not necessarily a picture of “optimal” health, we use lab ranges that are based on optimal physiology and not the “normal” population. By using tighter functional ranges, we can detect areas of physiological function that are trending away from optimal function and see where the individual is moving towards dysfunction. Using specialized software that uses detailed algorithms to analyze patterns in biomarkers we can create a health improvement plan customized to the individual health needs of the patient.

Solid Tumor Cancer Screening Test (Cancer Checklabs)
  • Cancer check works because it captures whole atypical cells that a pathologist evaluates if any of them are circulating tumor cells (CTCs), tumors begin shedding tumor cells that circulate in the bloodstream, potentially as early as they are born, well before the tumor has grown enough to be visible in imaging.
  • Finding CTCs indicates a problem, cancer tumor cells (CTC’s) begin shedding from a tumor into your bloodstream as the tumor attempts to spread throughout your body, the earlier you can detect the CTC’s, the earlier you can try to stop the cancer.
  • Cancer check uses a specialized filtration process that can extract atypical, potentially malignant tumor cells, from the blood as unprecedented scale.
  • Early detection is key, rather than waiting for the tumor to grow and continue spreading until it is finally large enough to be visible on imaging or felt as a lump.
  • Cancer check labs can screen for over 200 types of solid-state tumors, currently most screenings only screen for 5 types of solid-state tumors.

How Cancer Check Works

Blood Sample Collection

After you receive your test kit, a professional phlebotomist will draw 40 ml of blood (about 5 vials) for your sample.

Our Lab Filters Your Blood

Your blood sample is sent in to our laboratory and is filtered using leading technologies that can isolate tumor cells with our proprietary workflow. Slides are prepared for our pathologists to review.

Reviewing the Results

A pathologist reviews the sample and data to determine whether or not tumor cells were detected. Every customer receives a board-certified pathology report for their screening. Results are ready in about 10-14 days.

Why Cancer Check Works

Cancer Check works because we capture whole atypical cells and a pathologist evaluates if any of them are circulating tumor cells (CTCs).
These
CTCs are known to provide cancer insights as you will see referenced below.

?

Tumors Shed Cells

Tumors begin shedding tumor cells that circulate in your bloodstream, known as circulating tumor cells (CTCs), potentially as early as they are born, well before the tumor has grown enough to be visible in imaging.

Finding CTCs Indicates a Problem

CTCs begin shedding from a tumor into your bloodstream as the tumor attempts to spread throughout your body. Hence, the earlier we can detect the CTCs, the earlier we can try to stop the cancer in its tracks.

Broad Spectrum Screening

Cancer Check uses specialized filtration processes that can extract atypical, potentially malignant tumor cells, from the blood at unprecedented scale. Because we filter the cells based on their physical and mechanical properties, we can capture tumor cells from any type or subtype of solid tumor as they all share similar physical and mechanical properties.

Cutting Edge Processing & Analysis

The processing includes staining the atypical cells we isolate and identifying the cell’s markers using established methods to create highly interpretable slides. Pathologists, who are trained to specifically analyze tissue, blood, and cells, analyze those slides and cell markers to identify whether or not the atypical cells are tumor cells. The pathologist issues a board-certified pathology report for every viable sample.

Finding CTCs for Quick Intervention

Fundamentally, CTCs must be shed from an underlying primary tumor (they need an origin, a source). Thereby, the presence of CTCs in the bloodstream is indicative of cancer and should warrant further investigation.

Early Detection

Rather than waiting for the tumor to grow and to continue spreading until it is finally large enough to be visible on imaging or felt as a lump, Cancer Check seeks to identify CTCs as early as possible. For example, one gram of tumor mass is rarely palpable (you cannot feel it) and it is hard to image (tough to see). However, that single gram of tumor mass sheds and emits up to an estimated 3.2 million CTCs per day into your bloodstream. With our proprietary process to analyze blood at scale, we can process sufficiently large enough samples to detect CTCs at the earliest of stages.

Cancer Types

Cancer Check works because we can capture whole atypical circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from your blood draw.
Below are some examples of the 200+ solid tumor types and subtypes that could be detected.

Men’s Hormones

Why Should Men Consider Testorsterone Replacement Therapy?

The symptoms of low testosterone can have a negative impact on a man’s overall well-being and health. Men who are Testosterone deficient also find that their symptoms tend to get worse with time, which starts to drastically lower quality of life and reduce motivation to do things they used to enjoy. With Testosterone replacement therapy men can reduce their symptoms and help slow down the aging process that starts to take its toll on the body and start to get their edge back again.

What are the most common symptoms of low testosterone that men can experience?
  • Decreased libido/sex drive
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Low energy throughout the day
  • Loss of lean muscle mass and strength
  • Increase in body fat
  • General depression
  • Poor concentration (brain fog)
  • Infertility issues
  • Low red blood cell count (anemia)
  • Brittle bones and general weakness
  • Poor sleep
How do I know if I have low testosterone levels?
The best way to confirm low Testosterone is a blood test. Medically low testosterone is below 300 ng/dL, though this number doesn’t always match symptoms. One should look at their overall health and look at what symptoms they may be experiencing and how limiting the symptoms are to their normal activities and quality of life.
What type of treatments are there for me with low testosterone
  • Topical gels and creams
  • Topical patches
  • Implantable pellets
  • Injections (subcutaneous or intramuscular)
How often do I receive testosterone?
Depending on what type of treatment you get, the regimen can be daily, weekly, or even every few months.
What are some of the benefits of testosterone therapy?
  • Heightened libido/sex drive
  • Better erectile quality
  • Improved energy levels
  • Better cognitive function and less brain fog
  • More vitality, motivation, and confidence throughout the day
  • Healthier appetite regulation
  • Improved sleep quality
How long does it take to start to notice a difference?
After several months of TRT, many patients experience more lean muscle growth, enhanced recovery after exercising, fuller facial hair growth, better immune function, improved sleep. It is important to remember that TRT is not a one-size-fits-all treatment protocol; some men will respond more quickly than others. Your mindset should be on the long-term results of TRT as opposed to the quick-fix mentality.
What lifestyle changes can be made to help improve my testosterone levels?

Diet & Nutrition- a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats can support optimal Testosterone levels.

Lose weight- higher amounts of body fat cause more conversion of Testosterone to Estrogen which favors more fat accumulation

Regular exercise- weightlifting and HIIT cardio- these exercises have proven to enhance testosterone levels

Quality sleep- getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night can help maintain healthy testosterone levels

Stress management- relaxation techniques like practicing deep breathing or meditation can aid in stress management and help support healthier Testosterone levels.

Reduce alcohol intake- limiting alcohol consumption can prevent a decrease in testosterone levels.

Quit smoking- quitting tobacco use can positively impact testosterone, contributing to healthier levels.

What Steps Do I Take to Start?

Step one

Complete digital intake forms, patient demographics and
health questionnaire.

step two

Schedule your in-office
blood draw.

step three

Complete your bloodwork
while fasted.

Most labs will require to fast for at least 12 hours and be well-hydrated.

Women’s Hormones

Why Should Women Consider Hormone Replacement Therapy?

As women transition through menopause, hormone flucuations cause symptoms like hot flashes, low libidio, low energy, and fatigue. Finding the right treatment can be a daunting task. At Elevate Medical Group, our providers prescribe Bio-identical Hormone Replacement therapy ( BHRT) using bio-identical estogens, progesterone, and testosterone to restore hormone levels. Misconceptions about BHRT can prevent women from receiving effective treatment. Understanding BHRT facts can help you decide on your treatment path. Menopause doesn’t mean losing control. Learn how BHRT can help manage your symptoms. Elevate Medical Group is here and ready to address your questions and help you determine if BHRT is right for you.

What are the most common symptoms of deficient hormones that women can experience?
  • Hot flashes, night sweats, and poor sleep
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Low libido
  • Fatigue, exhaustion, low energy
  • Difficulty losing weight
  • Difficulty concentrating, brain fog
  • Anxiety
  • Hair loss
How do I know if I have low hormone levels?
The best way to find out if can benefit from HRT is to get your hormone levels tested, we can perform a series of blood test in clinic to determine if you are deficient in your hormone levels and if you are a good candidate for treatment.
What type of treatments are available for HRT for women
  • Topical gels and creams
  • Topical patches
  • Implantable pellets
  • Injectable solutions
How often do I need to take HRT treatments?
Depending on what type of treatment you get, the regimen can be daily, weekly, or even every few months.
What should I be taking for BHRT?
Dosing will be determined by your clinical response, normally you want to be able to use the lowest effective dose at the most efficient interval. Once your symptoms start to respond and your labs support that observation, the provider will determine the best maintenance dose for your body.
What are some of the benefits of BHRT therapy?
  • Heightened libido/sex drive
  • Less hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness

I.V. Drip Therapy

Come Feel the Difference with I.V. Drip Therapy and Get Your Edge Back.

IV Drip Therapy is a low-risk, minimally invasive procedure administered by licensed medical staff in a relaxing environment. It delivers fluids mixed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. This allows the body to absorb almost 100% of the nutrients needed to live better, feel better, and perform better. Orally, the gastrointestinal tract only digests up to 20% of a vitamin’s potency. In short, IV Drip Therapy can be the quickest, most effective way to deliver critical fluids and nutrients throughout your body.

What are some of the benefits of getting I.V. Drip Therapy on a regular basis?

Getting a I.V. Drip treatment on a regular basis can help detoxify the body, help regulate your mood and sleep better, aid in jet lag recovery (frequent trips/work travel), fight exhaustion/fatigue, lessen the duration of the cold/flu, ease symptoms of dehydration, soothes muscles aches/pains, reduce stress, and reduce visual signs of aging.

Is getting I.V. Drip Therapy better than just taking my oral vitamins and supplements?
Intravenous (IV) Drip Therapy infuses crucial vitamins and minerals directly into the bloodstream. One of the many benefits of an I.V. is that it bypasses the gastrointestinal tract. When taken orally, the potency and effectiveness of both vitamins and minerals can be vastly reduced. In some cases, vitamins can be rendered inactive or may not be absorbed at all due to improper intestinal functions. I.V. Drip Therapy can be used proactively to maintain an optimally healthy lifestyle, knowing you are getting the maximum benefit from the crucial vitamins and minerals your body needs.
What are some of the vitamins and nutrients that are available for I.V. Drip Therapy?
  • B-Complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6)
  • Vitamin B12 (Hydroxocobalamin)
  • Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
  • Calcium
  • Magnesium
  • Folic acid
  • Zinc
  • Biotin
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid
  •  Trace minerals (Selenium, Copper, Manganese)
Are there other non-vitamins that can be administered through I.V. Drip Therapy?
  • Toradol (pain/migraines/cramps)
  • Zofran(nausea/vomiting)
  • Glutathione (antioxidant, immune support, anti-aging)
  • NAD+ (cell support, energy boost, anti-aging)
  • Taurine (energy metabolism, combat fatigue, enhance muscle function, reduce muscle damage during workouts)
  • BCAA (promotes muscle synthesis, reduces muscle breakdown, supports liver function)
  • Lipo-C (fat burner, increase metabolism and weight loss)
  • Chelation ( helps remove heavy metals ( lead, mercury, arsenic,or iron) preventing toxic build up in the body.
How long does it usually take to finish an I.V. Drip Treatment?

Normally, most I.V. Drip Therapy treatments will take about 45-60 minutes and be in the comfort of our I.V. room in a comfortable recliner where you can relax while getting your I.V. treatment.

NAD+ I.V. Therapy

Discover the Anti-Aging Benefits and Unlock Your Body’s Potential with NAD+ Therapy.

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) I.V. Therapy is a revolutionary new treatment that offers a wide range of health benefits particularly in energy production & DNA repair. It is a non-invasive, intravenous therapy that introduces NAD+ or its precursor (NR) molecules into the body to support cellular energy production. These molecules also act as powerful antioxidants to help protect against oxidative stress and reduce cell aging.
What happens to our body’s cells during the aging process?

During the body’s aging process, normal human cells have a limited capacity to divide before they stop and enter a state of senescence. This limit is determined by the length of telomeres, which are protective caps at the ends of chromosomes that shorten with each cell division. When telomeres become too short, the cell can no longer replicate and may die or become dysfunctional.

What is NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide)?
NAD+ is a coenzyme found in all living cells and plays a crucial role in various biological processes, particularly in energy production and DNA repair. NAD+ can help protect cells from oxidative stress, which is a condition where there is an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage DNA, proteins, and lipids, leading to cellular dysfunction and inflammation.
What are some of the potential benefits of receiving NAD+ I.V. treatments?
Energy Production

NAD+ is a key player in cellular respiration, the process that converts nutrients into energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). By increasing NAD+ levels, cells may produce more ATP, leading to enhanced energy levels and improved cellular function.

DNA Repair and Protection
NAD+ is essential for DNA repair mechanisms, and higher NAD+ levels may promote more efficient repair of damaged DNA. This could potentially help reduce the risk of mutations and age-related cellular damage.

Anti-Aging Effects

Declining NAD+ levels have been associated with aging, and NAD+ therapy is being explored for its potential anti-aging effects. By supporting cellular health and function, NAD+ therapy may help slow down the aging process and improve overall well-being.

Neuroprotection
NAD+ plays a critical role in maintaining the health of neurons and supporting their function. Increasing NAD+ levels may help protect against neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive decline.

Mitochondrial Support
NAD+ is involved in maintaining healthy mitochondria, which are the powerhouses of the cells. Healthy mitochondria are crucial for overall cellular health and longevity.

Metabolic Support
NAD+ is involved in various metabolic pathways, including those related to glucose and lipid metabolism. NAD+ therapy may help regulate metabolic processes and potentially benefit individuals with metabolic disorders.

Cardiovascular Health
NAD+ therapy may positively impact cardiovascular health by promoting better blood vessel function and reducing oxidative stress.

What is the recommended number of NAD+ I.V. sessions?

The current understanding is that consistent replenishment over time could be necessary to maintain elevated NAD+ levels, given its rapid turnover rate in the body. The concept of “loading” and “maintenance” doses is prevalent in the NAD+ therapy literature. A study on NAD+ metabolism in humans indicated that NAD+ levels post-infusion return to baseline within days, suggesting the need for repeated dosing to achieve sustained benefits. This leads to the rationale that a 3-month period could be ideal for observing both immediate and more sustained effects of NAD+ therapy.

The Rationale Includes:

  • Efficacy
A 3-month duration allows for sufficient time to observe meaningful improvements in cellular function, energy levels, and overall health outcomes.
  • Adaptation
The body needs time to adapt to and fully benefit from increased NAD+ levels. This period ensures optimal absorption and utilization at the cellular level.
  • Consistency
Regular treatments over a 3-month period help maintain steady NAD+ levels, promoting sustained health benefits and preventing relapses.
  • Comprehensive Care
This duration aligns with clinical guidelines for treating chronic conditions, providing a thorough and holistic approach to health improvement.
What type of NAD+ I.V. sessions and protocols are available through Elevate Medical Group?

Elevate Medical Group offers NAD+ I.V. protocols ranging from 6 sessions to 16 sessions, depending on the individual focus of NAD+ treatment.

NAD+ I.V. PROTCOLS INCLUDE:

Athletic Recovery Package
– 6 sessions over a 3-month period (6 sessions every 2 weeks for 3 months).

Anti-Aging Package
8 sessions over a 3-month period (4 weekly sessions first month, then sessions every 2 weeks for 2 months).

Chronic Fatigue Package
9 sessions over a 3-month period (6 weekly sessions for the first month and a half, then 1 session every other week for last month and a half).

Cognitive Enhancement Package
12 sessions over a 3-month period (12 weekly session for 3 months).

Monthly Maintenance Package
16 sessions over a 12-month period (4 weekly sessions during the first month, then 1 maintenance session monthly for 11 months).

What NAD+ I.V. options are available and how long does 1 session take?

Elevate Medical Group offers 2 options for NAD+ I.V. therapy, both are effective in their end goal of raising NAD+ levels but have different time requirements.

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide)
A larger molecule that requires being broken down into smaller precursor molecules before it can pass through cell membranes and has a relatively short half-life in the body making it rapidly metabolized. For these reasons a slower infusion of time helps facilitate slower cellular uptake and improve the therapeutic effect. Additionally, high concentrations of large molecules like NAD+ can cause osmotic balance shifts and disrupt osmotic balance in blood vessels if administered too quickly causing infusion discomfort. Depending on NAD+ dosage infusion time can run 2-5 hours.

Niagen (Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride)
A pre-cursor molecule that is converted to active NAD+ and is a smaller molecule that can pass through cell membranes directly, requiring fewer steps to be converted to NAD+ and has significantly reduced infusion time. Depending on dosage NRC can be infusion time can run 30-60 minutes.

Cosmetic Exosomes (Hair & Skin)

Unlock the Power of these Hidden Regenerative Properties for Your Hair and Skin.

A stem cell is like a very special kind of building block in your body. It’s unique because it can turn into many different types of cells-like skin cells, blood cells, or muscle cells. Think of it as a versatile worker that can become whatever your body needs now. Stem cells are crucial because they can repair or replace damaged tissues, which is why they’re often used in medical regenerative treatments. On the other hand, an exosome is like a tiny, sealed envelope that cells send out into the body. It is filled with messages in the form of proteins, bits of genetic material, and other molecules. These envelopes are released from cells in the body to communicate with other cells, telling them what to do or how to behave. It’s as if cells are passing notes to each other to coordinate activities or share resources, helping everything work smoothly in the body. Exosomes have the potential to deliver a message to other cells in the body and turn on specialized functions.

HOW STEM CELLS WORK IN THE BODY

HOW EXOSOMES WORK IN THE BODY

What is the rationale behind using stem cell derived exosome treatments for skin and hair rejuvenation?
By introducing the recipient’s cells to younger and healthier combination of stem cell derived exosomes sub-dermally, the exosomes once injected into the sub-dermal layer of the skin or scalp can promote healing, repair, and rejuvenation through the following processes:

More About Skin Rejuvenation

Fibroblast Stimulation
Exosomes can stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which are crucial for skin elasticity and hydration.

Keratinocyte Stimulation
Exosomes promote the proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes, aiding in the renewal of the epidermis of the skin.

Collagen Synthesis
Exosomes enhance collagen production, aiding to help reduce wrinkles, fine lines, contributing to a more youthful skin appearance.

Angiogenesis
Exosomes promote the formation of new blood vessels, which is essential for oxygen and nutrient supply to heal skin tissues.

Anti-Inflammatory Properties
Exosomes introduce a combination of younger and healthier growth factors and proteins that aid in the down regulation of the inflammation process.

Stem Cell Migration
Exosomes promote enhanced cell migration and “Wake Up” other stem cells to participate in the repair process.

Antioxidant Effects
Exosomes deliver antioxidant molecules that help protect the skin cells from oxidative stress, a significant factor in skin aging.

Growth Factor Delivery
Exosomes carry a payload of growth factors like (VEGF, FGF, and TGF-Beta) which can stimulate skin repair and regeneration.

More About Hair Rejuvenation

Hair Follicle Stem Cell Stimulation
Exosomes can activate dormant hair follicle stem cells, encouraging them to enter the growth phase of the hair cycle (anagen phase).

Signal Transduction
Exosomes contain growth factors, cytokines, and miRNA that stimulate pathways that are crucial for hair follicle regeneration.

Enhanced Angiogenesis
Exosomes promote the formation of new blood vessels around hair follicles, ensuring better nutrient supply and oxygenation, both vital for hair growth.

Anti-Inflammatory and Immunomodulating Effects
By reducing inflammation around hair follicles, exosomes create a more favorable environment for hair growth.

Collagen and Extracellular Matrix Synthesis
Exosomes can stimulate dermal papilla cells to produce more collagen and other matrix components, supporting the structural integrity and health of the hair follicles.

Proliferation & Differentiation
They encourage the proliferation of keratinocytes and the dermal papilla cells, which are essential for hair shaft production and follicle development.

What type of Stem Cell Derived Exosomes are used for regenerative skin and hair treatments?
Elevate Medical Group works with manufactures/laboratories that source their stem cell derived exosomes from mesenchymal stem cells (MSC’s) derived from umbilical lining stem cells (ULSC’s) and from the chorion of placental mesenchymal stem cells (pMSC’s), that are collected after full term live births by c-section. The tissues are cleaned and decontaminated during processing and donors are healthy women who are screened for communicable diseases to make sure the collected tissues are free of pathogens. A complete medical and social history is collected and reviewed to ensure that mother meets all the eligibility requirements.

Do Stem Cell Derived Exosome Treatments require surgery or down time?
Regenerative skin and hair treatments are a non-surgical treatment that utilizes stem cell and exosome components utilizing different administration methods such as topical application, site specific injections, facial microneedling, facial injecting, scalp microneedling or scalp injecting. Down time is very minimal, and patients can return to normal activities quickly with minimal disruptions to their daily routine.

What is the appropriate amount of Stem Cell Derived Exosomes products to use and how can injection accuracy be guaranteed when doing a skin or hair treatment?

Treatment Factors
Stem Cell Derived Exosomes are prepared and measured out in numerical units by the manufacture, typically a vial of stem Cell Derived Exosomes product will be measured in the billions of units. The amount of product used will depend on the treatment type, the area being treated, and even the age of the person being treated.

Mechanical Accuracy
The clinic uses a special medical injector device that can accommodate special syringes with a special micro-needle tip. The medical professional then programs the device to inject the same volume of Stem Cells Derived Exosomes product on every injection and can program the device to deliver each injection at a specific depth to ensure precision and accuracy when injecting product into the skin or scalp and to maximize the treatment with minimal product waste.

How many treatments are needed and how often should Stem Cell Derived Exosomes treatments be done?
Generally, it is recommended to do a series of 2-3 treatments, starting out with higher volume of Stem Cell Derived Exosome units of the first treatment session, followed by a few more sessions every 4-6 weeks with lower volume of Stem Cell Derived Exosome units in subsequent sessions. The effects of Stem Cell Derived Exosome treatments can have continued effects on the skin and hair for up to 18-24 months based on clinical data. Ultimately, it will depend on patient specific factors (age, area being treated, and end goals of the patient).
